GLP-1 receptor agonist peptide, 31 amino acids
Semaglutide is a 31-amino-acid analogue of human GLP-1(7-37) with two amino-acid substitutions and a C18 fatty-diacid side chain at lysine 26 that promotes albumin binding and a long circulating half-life. It is the reference compound against which newer multi-receptor agonists are usually compared in the research literature.

Research Handling Guidance
Before reconstitution, allow both the lyophilised peptide and your chosen diluent to settle at normal laboratory room temperature. Equalising temperatures in this way supports the structural stability of the compound while it goes into solution.
Diluents and reconstitution solutions are purchased separately.
